Popular MonsTOUR II: World Domination
Special guests: Hollywood Undead – Sleep Theory
Sleep Theory
They are an American rock band formed in 2020. They play a blend of styles, including nu-metal, metalcore, and R&B. Even though they only have one EP, Paper Hearts (2023) and some singles they recently released a new single, Paralyzed (you can read my review about it here).
Band members
- Cullen Moore – lead vocals
- Daniel Pruitt – guitar, screaming vocals
- Paolo Vergara – bass, co-lead vocals
- Ben Pruitt – drums
I arrived at the venue at 18:30 and after 15 minutes of a super long queue (that luckily moved super fast) I was at my seat waiting for the show to start. Sadly, the place was full at medium capacity, which didn’t change much throughout the whole event.
The show started at 19.00 and they played for 40 minutes approximately. 7 songs that I sang and enjoyed very much, especially Numb (love the breaks in the choruses) and Paralyzed (one of their heaviest song so far), as well as Gone or Staying and Stuck in My Head (these are my favorites too).
Sleep Theory were the reason that I came up to the festival. I was very happy for them since they are a relatively newer band and playing with two greater bands, especially Falling In Reverse and for that kind of audience, must be amazing for them. They seemed super excited and at the end, Cullen approached the audience and crowd surfed for a little bit. He was having the time of his life.
Setlist
- Fallout
- Enough
- Paralyzed
- Gone or Staying
- Stuck in My Head
- Numb
- Another Way

Hollywood Undead
American rap rock band formed in 2005. They used to wear hockey masks, but not on this occasion. They count on eight studio albums released.
I got to know them because of some funny YouTube videos by Finn Mckenty in which he mentioned them, but never listened to them seriously until a few days before this show. I was greatly surprised that they were not only some fun or party act but these guys can play heavy too.
Band Members
- Jorel “J-Dog” Decker – vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards
- Dylan “Funny Man” Alvarez – vocals
- George “Johnny 3 Tears” Ragan – vocals, bass
- Jordon “Charlie Scene” Terrell – vocals, guitars
- Danny Murillo – vocals, keyboards, programming, guitars, bass
The show started at 19.50 and lasted almost one hour. The first three songs were California Dreaming, CHAOS and Riot, and then they announced “the best party song”: Everywhere I Go. Although that the audience knew and sang every song from their playlist this was in another level.
Before Comin’ in Hot, they asked for a guitar player from the audience. A guy jumped up and played some notes and then the song, with them. I can only imagine how happy he was.
War Child, super energetic song, as their whole show. Following the musicians started screaming Stand Up and Shout (like in the Rockstar movie) and they approached a microphone to the audience to which some people did a great job shouting this line back at them.
Another Way Out, Ruin My Life, and Hear Me Now, came after, just to leave space for Sweet Caroline (Neil Diamond’s cover), that it was indeed a sweet and acoustic moment.
The show ended with my favorite songs by them, Bullet and Undead, both super catchy.
I only knew half of the songs but I loved them. Great setlist, a great vibe and I can consider myself a Hollywood Undead fan now too.

Falling in Reverse
American rock band formed in 2008 by the ex-Escape the Fate’s singer, Ronnie Radke, who created FIR after his problems with the law that made him serve time.
They make music with a combination of genres like post-hardcore, rap, and metalcore. With 5 studio albums recorded, they came to present their most recent work, Popular Monster which was released in August 2024.
Band Members
- Ronnie Radke – vocals
- Christian Thompson – guitars
- Tyler Burgess – bass
- Luke Holland – drums
Before Falling in Reverse show began, in the venue sounded glam songs, at a low volume. And one of those songs was We’re Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister and made me feel a little nostalgic of Chile because here no one sang it and in Chile (or in Latin America we sing the chorus with a variation “huevos con aceite” (eggs and oil), because it sounds similar to the lyrics. It made me feel a little emotional about my land and the Chilean audience. The only song that drove the people to sing was Livin’ On A Prayer by Bon Jovi. But the nostalgic feeling didn’t last very long because shortly after the lights went out and AC/DC’s Highway to Hell was blasting out of the speakers while there were images of Ronnie and the band walking to the stage.
The main dish of the evening started at 21.30 and lasted for 70 minutes approx.
In every song, they put the video on the screen.
I didn’t know a lot of Ronnie’s songs, but I mostly enjoyed his older songs, like Situations (from his time with Escape the Fate) as well as his early Falling in Reverse era (I’m Not A Vampire and The Drug in Me is You) because they have an 80’s glam vibe to them.
Before Just Like You the asshole cam started showing people in the audience and of course, also Ronnie who started singing “I am aware that I am an asshole…”
At that time, the crowd was so hyped up and Ronnie said goodbye: “Well, thank you guys, it’s late, bye, see you another time” and walked off stage with the band.
The screen then showed Ronnie and a guy in a cowboy hat making him return to the stage at gunpoint and handing him a cowboy hat. It was time for their cowboy song All My Life.
Their 3 last songs were their recent and heavier ones: Voices in My Head, Ronald and Watch the World Burn. Throughout the whole concert, there was a lot of pyrotechnics going on, especially during these songs.
I enjoyed Falling in Reverse show and it changed my mind about Ronnie, he is funny and a very talented guy.
