My Thoughts On

My 10 Favorite Music YouTubers

I love watching music-related content on YouTube, whether reactions, interviews, or random musician stories. I’m a fan of a lot of these types of channels, but these are the ones that I watch the most:

Finn Mckenty

American graphic designer, marketer, and music commentator. He has 2 channels: Finn Mckenty and The Punk Rock MBA. He made hilarious videos (dark humor) about bands and music culture, focusing on hardcore and metalcore genres. Very entertaining.

Sadly he is no longer making videos about these topics, so I just read his newsletter and his marketing advice on LinkedIn and I watch his older videos that I haven’t seen yet.

Nik Nocturnal

Canadian guitarist who makes videos about music: reactions, interviews, covers or just to talk about bands. Very funny too.

Rykerroad

Kyle (metalhead) and Eric (hip-hop head) are two brothers from the USA. They mostly make music reaction videos, and I like that they also analyze the lyrics of the songs.

Trash Talkers

Two American YouTubers Hollywood 6ix and Smokey Rameriz react, mostly, to rock and metal videos.

Ohrion Reacts

Canadian YouTuber that makes reactions about metalcore & deathcore music.

The Break Down with Nath & Johnny

These Australian guys react to music videos and record interviews with musicians.

Craig Reynolds

English drummer for the hardcore band Stray From The Path. He primarily conducts interviews with musicians.

Now on the more technical side…

Drumeo

Drum lessons with your favorite drummers, challenges, and more. Led by Brandon Toews.

METALBIRB

Reactor and guitarist from Canada. I like that he also provides technical comments about the music.

Steve O’G

English musician. He reacts to music videos, and shows, conducts interviews, and always comments on the technical parts too.

The Charismatic Voice

On the singing aspect, no one is better than the vocal coach and opera singer Elizabeth Zharoff. She reacts to different genres of music but mostly rock and metal. Thanks to her videos, I discovered Lorna Shore and Sleep Token, so she had to be on this list.
