Dämonen:Sturm Tour 2025
Opening bands: KNIGHT$ and Dunkelsucht
I arrived at the venue around 19:50, and the first band playing was KNIGHT$. I stood the whole show in the first row, behind the barrier. A few meters separated the audience from the stage. Later, I would know the reason for that.
KNIGHT$
When I entered the place, the singer was doing a cover of Billy Idol’s Rebel Yell, and then another song, and the show finished. It was good, even though I didn’t watch the entire set, but I saw some YouTube clips before the concert, and I liked the music.
KNIGHT$ is the music project of the English artist James Knights. He creates synthpop and electropop music with an 80s vibe.

Dunkelsucht
Around 20.15 Dunkelsucht started. A singer and a keyboard player.
Their music is electro-industrial. I recognized some songs (because I previously heard some of them on YouTube), such as The Silence You’ve Been Longing For and This Is Fucking Mainstream! Their last song on the setlist was Let Your Darkness Out!
I liked their set, especially the heavier industrial tracks. And being an 80s girl myself, I also enjoyed their synthwave danceable tracks.
Dunkelsucht is a Swiss dark electro industrial music project. The duo is formed by Patrick Näf (singer) and Tim Lindner (keyboard-synth player).

BlutEngel
BlutEngel (Blood Angel) is a German electronic gothic music group formed by singer Chris Pohl. They call their style dark pop. Their lyrics and aesthetic are usually about love, vampirism, and depression. Chris is the male singer and the main composer of the songs and lyrics, and Ulrike Goldmann is the female singer.
In their live shows, they typically have a keyboard player, a drummer, and a guitarist (Tom Stoewer). Sorry that I don’t know the names of the current keyboard player and drummer, I couldn’t find any information on that. Also in the videos as well as the live shows, there are the dancers (Viki, Bine, Nadine, and Nicki) who do dances and theatrical performances for each song.
This tour is to promote their fourteen studio album Dämonen: Sturm, which was released in February 2025. Here’s my review of the album: https://metalbere.com/25-new-songs-from-the-king-of-dark-pop-with-blutengel-damonen-sturm-album-review/
Before the show, a girl gave us BlutEngel flags.
The show started at 21:15 with the three dancers dressed in black like fallen angels, and the first song was Remembrance. The War Between Us came next, and then She Wears Black with Nadine dancing with wings. These three songs and performances were a great way to start the show.
When Darkness Falls started with the pyrotechnics, and then I understood why we, the audience, were so far from the stage.
It was the turn for the lovely Fliegen, and then one of the highlights of the night, the classic Engelsblut, in which we all sing our hearts out.
Ulrike alone delighted us with her beautiful voice in two songs, Reunite Our Hearts and Black Roses. Chris came back to sing Tief and Into the Void in which the pyro went crazy, and the heat was very high in the first row.
Up next: Lucifer, Bloody Pleasures, and one of my favorites, Tausend Leben.
In Angst, Nadine fights the other dancers who want to take her away. Weitergehen came then.
Dein Gott with Bine dressed as a devil and the other girls as angels.
My Creation was heavy on the pyro, too. Then I noticed two firefighters near the stage. They were on guard the whole time, luckily nothing bad happened, yet the heat was high, especially when they played their hit Reich mir die Hand. Bine was throwing fire through her mouth, and Nadine and Nicki were by her side with small flamethrowers (I don’t know the technical name, but it looked sick like something Till Lindemann would use. I almost felt like I was in a small Rammstein concert, lol).
Ulrike was left alone, and she sang charmingly Seelenschmerz, Wir, and False Gods. Here, Chris returned to the stage to sing in the chorus.
The first part of the setlist ended with one of the newer songs, The Right Path. They left the stage for a minute, and when they came back, another highlight of the night took place with Black, and everyone went crazy.
They finished the concert for real with the highly acclaimed Walk Away.
The whole set was finished at 23.20. Two hours of dance hits and darkness from an iconic gothic band, which I was very happy to witness and enjoy.
BlutEngel ended in Berlin the first part of their Dämonen:Sturm Tour 2025 in their city, Berlin. They all seemed so happy that so many people were there to support them and their music.
Amazing night!
