Electric Six is a rock band from Detroit, USA. They mix rock, disco, and punk with comedy elements. The song Danger! High Voltage was released on January, 6th, 2003, as a single from their debut studio album, Fire.
The former frontman of The White Stripes, Jack White performed the female vocals on this song, that in the video was lip-synced by the actress, Tina Kanarek. The video shows Tina, and the singer Dick Valentine, as a wealthy passionate couple. Weird but funny video, at the same time.

I got to know the song, as many other great rock songs, by watching The Simpsons. In Season 21: Episode 19, called The Squirt and the Whale, that’s about wind energy and a blue whale, a part of the episode is musicalized with this song, the chorus, and the guitar solo. It was such a banger, that I had to look for this song and video, as well as other songs by this band.
Besides having such a bizarre video, the song is amazing and has a great guitar solo, so it became part of my permanent playlist.
