Michelle Darkness (Michael Huber) is a German singer of the gothic metal band End of Green, the band’s name refers to the end of hope. His music style is known as depressed-subcore because it deals with topics such as sadness and loneliness.

Love Decay is a romantic ballad, that follows the gothic style of Liv Kristine and her guest vocals, Michelle Darkness.
The lyrics are about the ending of a relationship, growing apart, but in a vampire style.
By the end of the 90s, I got to know Liv Kristine‘s music, when she was the singer of Theatre of Tragedy, thanks to some friends who were fans of gothic metal music. I was caught by the contrast between Liv‘s angelical voice and the male singer’s harsh vocals.
One day I was scrolling through YouTube and this video (Love Decay) appeared, and since I love Liv‘s voice and style, I gave it a listen. I liked it immediately and loved Michelle Darkness‘s deep voice, as well. So I started listening to End of Green too, because his voice and vibe remind me of Type O Negative and HIM, like the perfect mix between those, with heavy instruments.
